Why CPIM

Any make runs in one interface.

Charge points speak an open standard, which is what keeps the manufacturer replaceable.

The starting point

Two makes mean two portals today

The first site gets wallboxes from one manufacturer, the second from another.

Each make arrives with its own portal, its own contract, its own account.

The combined report is assembled in a spreadsheet at the end of the month.

Side by side

The difference shows in six places

The same operation, two starting positions.

Tied to one manufacturer

Every make arrives with a portal of its own.
The contract runs through the manufacturer.
Charging data sits in the manufacturer portal.
The feature set follows the manufacturer price list.
Switching often means new hardware.

Connected through CPIM

Every charge point appears in one interface.
A single contract covers the whole operation.
Charging data leaves as an Excel file whenever you ask.
New features follow what you actually need.
Switching leaves the hardware on the wall.

Way outA new portal, often new hardware as well.Stations stay on the wall, the data moves with you.
The standard

The open standard is called OCPP

Charge point and management software use it to speak one language.

Most wallboxes built in recent years already bring it with them.

CPIM uses OCPP 1.6-J, the version common in the market.

In practice

Every make sits in one list

List of all charge points with status, charging group and site
Charge points from several manufacturers in one list, shown with sample data.
Moving on

The exit is part of the plan

What happens on the day CPIM no longer suits you.

Sessions, cards and users leave as an Excel file.

The stations carry on speaking the same standard.

Another backend takes them over with a new address and a new password.

Tell us which makes are on your wall.

Send the manufacturer and the number of charge points, and a person will answer.
